paper aviator (aka Kris Zaballero) is a Filipino-American composer, producer, pianist, and arranger. Inspired by the music of games and cartoons, Kris creates music with warm soundscapes, catchy melodies, and soft emotions.
Kris has been playing piano since a young age, but they really started to take piano seriously at age 13, when they started learning video game music by ear. Around the same time, they started experimenting with chopping up loops into new songs and making covers of game music, eventually finding a passion for composition. They took piano lessons with Dr. Yun-Ling Hsu and received their BM in Music Composition at UCF, studying under Dr. Alexander Burtzos.
When they aren’t doing music, Kris enjoys juggling, drawing, making chain reaction machines, and playing games.
