Here is a selection of music made for performance, mostly written during my undergraduate career! Please message me if you are interested in performing any of these pieces. More scores coming soon!
Solo Piano
the thing with feathers
a miniature for solo piano, inspired by the Emily Dickinson poem, ‘Hope’ is the thing with feathers. the piece is based on a technique where both hands interweave both physically and metrically, playing groups of three and four notes, creating a busy, fluttering, and constantly blooming texture.
Spoonbills
a whimsical piano solo inspired by my favorite bird, the roseate spoonbill!
Somewhere at Sea
a piano suite in five sections, made while reminiscing about a family cruise trip i went on before the covid lockdown hit.
Music for Small Ensembles
it shone bright only for a moment
written for the UCF New Music Ensemble concert, FREE | VERSE, where a poem was written collaboratively, line by line, and each composer wrote a piece based on their line.
Hypnagogia
a piece for fixed media, piano, and strings based on the sleep cycle and literally composed while i was half awake. performed by Crystal Fuentes (piano), Isaac Kim (Violin), Viola (Ari Crick) Jomar Cruz (Cello).
